There're mainly three kinds of paper materials to make the paper bag, ivory paper(white cardboard), coated paper, kraft paper(brown kraft paper, white kraft paper, black kraft paper). Some textured paper, such as pearlized paper, also could be made for paper bag.

The ivory paper bags is firm and thick, with high stiffness, burst resistance and smoothness. The paper is smooth. The commonly used thickness is 190-300 grams, and the most used is 210gsm. The paper bags printed with ivory paper are full of color, and the texture of the paper is also very good. It is your first choice for the custom-made paper bag.

The coated paper bag are that the paper surface is very smooth, with high whiteness, high smoothness and good gloss. It also makes the printed graphics and pictures with a three-dimensional sense. The printing effect of coated paper is the same as that of ivory paper, and the color is full and more bright. The commonly used thickness is 128-250 grams. Compared with ivory paper, the stiffness of the coated paper is not as good as ivory paper bag.

The kraft paper bag is usually darker in color. It is characterized by greater fastness and the lowest cost. It is usually used to hold ordinary goods, except for white kraft paper (white kraft paper). It is suitable for printing dark pen and ink, and can also design some highly contrasting color blocks. The commonly used thickness is 150-210 grams. The kraft paper bags are usually not covered with film, so it is 100% recyclable paper bag. It is the most economical and eco-friendly paper bag.
